Northeast Central Judicial District · Judgeship No. 2
Attorney and public defender serving the Greater Grand Forks community, with courtroom experience in family, criminal, and juvenile law.

Attorney. Public defender. Candidate for Northeast Central Judicial District Judge.
Why I'm running
Through my work in family, criminal, and juvenile law—and through my own personal experiences with the justice system—I have seen both the good it can accomplish and the profound effect it has when people feel overlooked, unheard, or uncertain that their concerns have been fully considered.
I am running for judge because I believe public service begins with listening. If elected, I want every person who enters my courtroom to be treated with dignity, patience, and respect. I will approach each matter with an open mind, apply the law fairly, and work to ensure that every person leaves knowing they had a meaningful opportunity to be heard.
Public confidence in the courts depends on integrity. Corruption, favoritism, personal agendas, and improper influence have no place in the administration of justice. I will be accountable to the law and the people I serve, and I will work to ensure that decisions in my courtroom are made independently, transparently, and on the facts and law—not on status, connections, or outside pressure.
“I have the heart of a servant. Every person deserves to be heard, and every decision must be made with integrity.”
